１１月にスペインのバレンシアで開かれたラムサールＣＯＰ８の決議和訳作
業が始まり、環境省から作業を委託された国際湿地保全連合日本委員会（Ｗ
ＩＪ）が協力者を募集しています。

国際湿地保全連合日本委員会 2002年12月
湿地環境の保全に取組むラムサール条約の第８回締約国会議が去る11月18日か
ら26日まで，スペインのバレンシアで開催されました．会議は『湿地：水とい
のち，そして文化』をテーマに掲げ，５つのテーマごとの分科会や数々のサイ
ドイベントなどを開きながら，46の決議が全体会合で採択されました．
1993年に釧路で開催された第５回会議より，決議の和訳を含む「締約国会議の
記録」が環境庁（当時）等により作成されています．国際湿地保全連合日本委
員会では，環境省よりの委託をうけ，今回の会議の記録を作成することになり
ました．総合監修には，小林聡史氏（釧路公立大学）・柏木実氏（日本湿地
ネットワーク）・宮林泰彦氏（国際湿地保全連合日本委員会）があたります．
作業は，業者による粗訳（２ヶ月），各決議の粗訳の監修（１ヶ月），総合監
修と印刷（１ヶ月）の手順で，2003年４月に発刊するスケジュールとなってい
ます．そこで，国際湿地保全連合日本委員会では，2003年２月中旬から３月中
旬にかけて（見込み）各決議の粗訳の監修作業に参加協力してくださる専門
家・ＮＧＯメンバーを募集します（薄謝）．
下記の決議案一覧をご覧のうえ，ご協力いただける方は，監修したい決議やご
専門の分野をご明記のうえ，国際湿地保全連合日本委員会事務局までご連絡く
ださい．みなさまのご協力をお待ちしています．
